Throughout his whole life Rajan has been groomed to fill his father's elite position as one of the few covert leaders of BPO, but believing in the inherent goodness of humanity, he secretly despises everything they stand for. So when he realizes the woman he loves is also a Sensate, he knows that he can not compete with Kalagang. Instead he chooses to team up with them and help the cluster create their own powerful organization, taking down Whispers and BPO in the process.
